Biography

Ellen Schrecker is a professor of history emerita at Yeshiva University. One of the nation’s leading historians of the Cold War period, she is the editor of Cold War Triumphalism: The Misuse of History After the Fall of Communism and the author of The Lost Soul of Higher Education, both published by The New Press. She lives in New York City.
