Chrissie Walker has been a food and travel writer for a decade. She had a focus on Asia with her book, Capital Spice, promoting high-end Indian restaurants and chefs in London. Although travelling around the world, Chrissie spends much of her time at home in the UK reviewing restaurants of every kind and interviewing both resident and visiting chefs. An award-winning writer, Chrissie is also becoming known for her camera work and was a Finalist for the Pink Lady Photographer of the Year 2015 – Highly Commended, a celebrated international competition. Recently Chrissie was appointed 2nd Vice President of Les Dames d’Escoffier London, a prestigious international organisation which supports women in the food, drink and hospitality industries. She is also a Member of the well-respected British Guild of Travel Writers and a certified Japanese Sake Sommelier. She is studying for her WSET Level II Wine qualification and for an Advanced Diploma in Photography. Mostly Food & Travel Journal is Chrissie’s popular internet magazine looking at food, drink and travel across the globe.
