Kasey Wilson is an award-winning food and travel writer, broadcaster and author. Her career spans both print and electronic media: she is executive producer and host of the Best of Food and Wine, a weekly “drive home” radio show on CISL 650 (1997 to present), editor of Best Places Vancouver; and writes a quarterly column for Taste magazine. Her publication credits include the Globe & Mail newspaper, National Geographic Traveler, Bon Appetit and Gastronomica magazines. She is the author of ten non-fiction books on travel and food. Wilson serves as one of the academy judges for the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and the Association of Food Journalists (AFJ). Wilson was inducted into the British Columbia Restaurant Hall of Fame in 2011.

Great Dinners was ahead of its time when it was published in 1969. The photography by John Dominus was outstanding and many recipes have become dinner party standbys: spaghetti with meat sauce (our family's house recipe); roast goose with orange stuffing & Cumberland sauce (I've adapted this recipe to Cornish game hens); chocolate cheesecake; cannelloni.
